What is KissResume?

KissResume is an AI career assistant that works through a single chat conversation. You upload a résumé and the assistant scores how well it reads against an applicant tracking system, analyses the keywords it contains, rewrites weak sections, drafts cover letters tailored to a specific job, and helps you search for roles.

Everything happens in one place. Instead of bouncing between separate tools, you talk to the assistant and it handles each step in order.

Is KissResume free to use?

Yes, it is free to start. The service is supported by ads through Google AdSense, which keeps the core features open without a paywall. You do not need to sign up before you begin — you can upload a résumé and get an ATS score right away.

Signing in is optional and only saves your work between visits.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can start anonymously and use the assistant without registering. If you choose to sign in with Google, that simply saves your sessions and documents so you can return to them later. Account creation is never required to try the tools.

What file types can I upload?

KissResume accepts common résumé formats, including PDF and Microsoft Word (.docx) files. If your résumé is in one of these formats, you can upload it directly from the home page and the assistant will read it.

Will it invent things or lie on my résumé?

No. KissResume works only from the facts already in your résumé. It does not fabricate employers, job titles, dates, degrees, or numbers. Every generated document passes through a guard that preserves your real details before it reaches you.

The rule is simple: if a number is not in your résumé, it will not appear in the output. Rewrites sharpen how your experience is presented — they never make up experience you do not have.

What is an ATS score?

An ATS score is an estimate of how well your résumé parses and matches a job the way an applicant tracking system would read it. Many employers use this software to filter applications before a person ever sees them, so a résumé that parses cleanly has a better chance of reaching a human.

Does it write cover letters?

Can it tailor my résumé to a specific job posting?

Yes. Paste or describe the job and the assistant highlights keywords your résumé is missing, then rewrites the relevant bullet points to match the role. As with everything else, it does this without inventing facts — it reframes what is already true about your experience so the most relevant parts stand out.

How is my data handled, and is it private?

Does KissResume guarantee a job or interviews?

No. KissResume improves your materials and helps you target roles more precisely, but it cannot guarantee interviews or offers. Hiring outcomes depend on many factors outside any tool's control, including the job market, the specific employer, and timing. We focus on giving you stronger, more accurate documents and clearer targeting.

What languages and regions does it support?

KissResume is designed for English-language résumés. The advice it gives — clean formatting, relevant keywords, accurate facts — applies broadly across industries and locations, so it is useful wherever you are applying as long as your résumé is in English.

How do I delete my data or contact support?
